ABC-7’s CeFaan Kim is asking anyone who can identify the man who attacked him during a live broadcast in New York City Friday night to get in touch with the police.
Video shows that the incident could have become even uglier than it did. It does look like the man in the hockey mask was trying to score some publicity more than anything else, which might explain why he decided to take off his mask while the camera was still recording.
Find this lunatic who attacked a #NewYork #news reporter ON AIR last night! Contact #police if you know him. #Precinct7 Please RT! https://t.co/aRFGn12iwm

It’s no laughing matter, but sometimes you just can’t help it.
I think his last name is Voorhees

Someone posted a video by a rapper who wears a similar mask in his music video … which we’re not going to publicize here by naming it. Plus, the track is weak; sorry, guy.
Sorry that happened to you, that looks scary as hell. Hope a good citizen comes forward to identify him.

I really hope there is a security guy with your street crew… Crew should have CPL's IMO. Be safe out there, it's dangerous.
