Democrats saved themselves a whole lot of standing up and sitting back down during President Trump’s joint address Tuesday night, although a call to take care of America’s veterans did manage to get them off their feet.
Many House Democrats showed off their white outfits before the address, which were to represent the Suffragette movement and demand protection of women’s rights. The Women in White certainly did stand out in the audience, although CNN’s animated GIF of some of them giving a thumbs-down to the repeal of Obamacare was particularly hypnotic. The way their childish sign of opposition just loops over and over and over perfectly captured the Democrats’ game plan for 2017.
