As Twitchy reported, police in Chicago were bracing for civil unrest following the release of videos related to the fatal shooting of 18-year-old Paul O’Neal, whom police believed was armed when he rammed a patrol car with a stolen Jaguar July 28.
The Chicago Sun Times reported Monday that the Chicago Police Department had alerted officers to a threat to shoot cops following a meeting of three gangs.

A police source told the Sun Times that department members also have been advised to “limit interactions and visibility.”
Protests continued in Chicago through the weekend, with demonstrators blocking intersections and marching on the governor’s residence Monday night.
