Anderson Cooper, one of the most aggressive moderators we’ve seen, managed to pull the population of Denmark out of his pocket during Tuesday night’s Democrat debate when he felt the need to school the candidates, particularly Bernie Sanders, on their economic policies.

Sanders: Sanders says we live in a "rigged economy." Urges U.S. to be more like Norway, Sweden & Denmark. Audience cheers.

I love that Anderson Cooper knows the size of the population of Denmark.

Anderson Cooper knows the population of Denmark off the top of his head

most impressive part of the debate so far is Anderson Cooper knowing the population of Denmark

That was pretty impressive. Less impressive was that someone with Cooper’s insistence on facts let so many slide when the topic turned to guns. Sanders was the first to bring up the infamous “gun show loophole,” which Cooper let slide.
.@BernieSanders on #guncontrol: I strongly supported instant background checks and doing away with terrible gun show loophole. #DemDebate

Does Anderson Cooper realize there is no gun show loophole?
Or is that not important?

Sanders falsely claims that there exists a gun show loophole. http://t.co/3FuMZowXAN #DemDebate

@DLoesch I would be happy if someone could intelligently define the gun show loophole. Question: have any out them ever attended a gun show?

FACT: No gun control law has ever reduced crime. I'm going to send my book to the #DemDebate http://t.co/XtdG0xsnJ5

I wish Anderson would ask this: What "common sense" gun safety law would reduce innocent victims? #DemDebate
