Mike Dickinson, the Fox News-obsessed progressive Democrat who hopes to unseat House Majority Leader Eric Cantor, says he’s 100 percent on board with Rep. Alan Grayson in equating the Tea Party with the KKK.

That caught the attention of actor Nick Searcy.

If that doesn’t settle the matter (and it should), there’s always this.

  • heyheythere

Nick forgot to point out that the phrase is “one AND the same.”

    • therealguyfaux ✓ᵛᵉʳᶦᶠᶦᵉᵈ

N-a-a-a-h-h-h. Let Clownie’s illiteracy be on display for the world to see– or his poor choice of office staff, one or the other.

Grayson, Dickwad here, and Peters, he of the harassment of the woman with leukemia, are definitely in need of a little bit o’ “chastisement,” as we say.

Too bad Nick Searcy can’t actually curb-stomp them, much as they deserve to be.

      • Ken Sherwood

Curb stomp? Really? Why not just use the term lynched? Are you really that insensitive or are you ignorant also?

        • therealguyfaux ✓ᵛᵉʳᶦᶠᶦᵉᵈ

“Are you really that insensitive or are you ignorant also?”

They have to keep painting the Tea Party as racist in order to marginalize them. Alinsky’s rules for radicals. They succeeded with doing that to the GOP for a lot of low information types, and they’re determined to do it to the Tea Party. It’s the only way they can stay in power.

    • Hey, That’s Pretty Good

That’s all the Dems have. Their failed policies aren’t going to win them elections if people voted based on records instead of voting based on rhetoric.

      • lillymckim

        They have overplayed their hand.

    • PatriotRG

totally agree , its Alinsky’s 101. Turn it around on to them, don’t give the racist word they power they want it to have. The left control language – we need to stop that.

    • TheRMSDave

The documentary Hating Breitbart lays the attempt to smear out for all to see. Continuing to call the TEA party racist is a cynical move that imperils those who truly are victims of racism.

I find Mr. Dickinson micro-agressive hate speech offensive. I don’t think he should be allowed to participate in our elections. We should start a whitehouse.gov petition to have the hateful man arrested for bullying.

      • colonialmarine

        Indeed Tugger,
If we as conservatives didn’t stick to the substantive debate using demonstrable facts & reasoned arguments, and instead chose to use the progresso-left’s cafe au’Linsky playbook, muzzling Dickinson’s attention seeking “weiner envy” would be as easy as this…

Wonder how blacks enjoy being lied to, lied about, and exploited for votes.
Where is their self respect? As for the rest of the dems…….shame shame shame for lying about everything. But then your president lied and lied some more for the past four years or more..period.

    • Ma Bell

They don’t enjoy it, they take it for granted. Thank’s public schools

    • Electradivine

Thank you so much for telling “us blacks” about self respect , of course we should take your advice on presidents, because you sure got that bush fellow right

      • tops116 ✓Quipper

Oh, Elle, given your laughable attempts to defend Obama time and time again, no one could ever accuse you of having self-respect.

And as for Bush, face the facts, cupcake: he’s better than Obama in every conceivable way. He knew how to get things through Congress, he didn’t have to resort to the B.S. that Obama pulls with his pen in “the year of action”, he actually behaved like a leader, he actually understood the Constitution (more than we can say for the self-proclaimed Constitutional Scholar), he knew how many states there are in the country (unlike the guy born in the 50th and last state to enter the union), and he knows how to pronounce “corpsman.” There’s a reason why “Miss Me Yet?” has become such a popular meme.

As for advice on presidents, you’re not remotely qualified to offer it. After all, you supported Obama. He demonstrates why someone needs executive experience before taking an executive position. He’s inept boob. He’s a failure in every conceivable way. We all know it, and I’m sure even you know it. Obama talks tough, only to get regularly slapped by reality and forced to retreat to a golf course. The economy is mess, our reputation around the world is joke (remember when he ran on “repairing our relations”?), and we all know what a failure Obamacare is. There’s also a reason why Obama’s numbers have tanked hard in the last year.

And hey, last I checked, Obama has been oddly insistent on maintaining several prominent Bush policies (despite campaigning against them) and even intensified them. I bet that one really stings.

It must really grate you to know that Bush didn’t lie about Iraq, but that Obama lied about his “signature piece of legislation.” Even more grating, the Left exhausted so much energy trying to prove Bush lied (and never came up with an ounce of proof), but that the Right quickly proved that Obama was lying.

        • Hey, That’s Pretty Good

Hell, we just have to sit back and let Obama prove himself a liar.

        • Benjamin Lathan

Wow and like a large percentage of Louisana believes–Obama is responsible for Katrina. I guess it’s easy to forget Bush falling on his face drunk in the White House and the gay male prostitute with 50 overnight passes. Not to mention the entire institution of capitalism teetering on the brink of collapse as Dumbya left office…..

          • Kent Jenkins

Please qualify those stupid accusations …..troll

          • Jeannie Inman

Show me proof Bush was drunk and fell on his face…show me the male prostitute and a picture of the two of them together…until that time…SHUT IT and sit your butt down and learn something from people who DID NOT so completely screw this country up. Wake up idiot..you are about 4 years shy of living in a third world country…think I am wrong? Look around and wake up to what Obama’s agenda going into office really was. He is a puppet and his masters do not like America.

          • Benjamin Lathan

Wow….Republican candidates were afraid to even mention Bush’s name or be seen with him a few years ago. They pretended he hadn’t even existed—he so screwed the country up. Now you yahoos act like he was the 2nd coming of Christ. For information on the gay male prostitute look up ‘Jeff Ganon.’ Also check out Bill Mahr’s YouTube videos on Jeff Ganon.

          • Patrick Fras

You honestly think Obama is any better than Bush?

Almost ten years ago Kanye West shocked the country when he said on live tv “Bush doesn’t care about black people.” It was a pretty bold move, whether you agreed with him or disagreed with him. While he hijacked a tragedy for his political beliefs, he voiced an opinion he knew would be unpopular. But he ain’t said sh-t about Obama. If Bush didn’t care about black people, if he couldn’t give two sh-ts about black people, then Obama couldn’t give a rat’s ass or less than a f-ck about black people.

I never saw Bush fight for gun control laws that would make areas more dangerous to live in, proved by even his own home town where much of the deaths resulting from people being unable to defend themselves are-guess what-black.

I never saw Bush say we need to grant illegal aliens amnesty before saying we need to institute some type of work program that will help blacks get out of homelessness and off welfare.

I never saw Bush tell Planned Parenthood, founded by a eugenicist who was a KKK sympathizer who clearly said she wanted blacks exterminated, Planned Parenthood which kills blacks at a disproportionate rate daily, which 79% of it’s locations just so happen to be in a minority neighborhood, “God Bless You.”

I never saw Bush declare “Pride Month,” basically an award for people who like to put things where they don’t belong, before doing anything to help black communities flourish and thrive-we get a month that’s two days shorter than the LGBT. What the hell kinda bullsh-t is that? And we were actually born black, because we were born to two black parents. How the hell were these people born gay, lesbo or transgender when their parents were obviously straight, obviously in the “correct” body? And to add insult to injury, Black History Month was a long time coming. After everything blacks suffered in America (which we no longer do but that’s not the point I’m making) you know slavery, had to sit in the back of the bus and all that. We get black history month after all this oppression. The gays start whining that people have the audacity to point out millions of years of historical biology precedent that shows that homosexuality is unnatural, then the President bends over for them. To them, this is “oppression.”

We recognize black progress which contributed not just to blacks but to people of all colors, religions and creeds for 28 days. We celebrate the likes of MLK Jr., Thurgood Marshall, Harriet Tubman and Bessie Coleman for 28 days. We celebrate degeneracy, family destruction, and anti-Christian attitudes for 30. I ask, why?

To summarize; Obama is happy to serve criminals, illegals, and baby murderers who profit from the deaths of babies especially black ones. And gays. What’s he done for black people? Not a got-damned thing. F-ck Obama.

I had a co-worker a black woman who kept saying she loved Obama so finally I said why do you love him ? What has he done for you lately? She says well I don’t keep up with politics. So I asked why do you love him then and she just looked at me because she didn’t want to say she loved him only for the reason he is black. So there you go and he got elected again from these voters who just love him for his color.

        • algonquinmatt

too bad for her. she doesn’t even know that she’s prejudiced.

        • minaka2

He’s not even black, but half white. So she loves him because he LOOKS black. That’s enough for her and she doesn’t get called a racist the way you would for saying you love a white candidate while knowing nothing about him except his skin color.

Flip it around for her. Say: “If I told you I loved a white candidate but I knew nothing about his policies, would you say I’m a racist?”

There are many black men and woman I would call qualified to run for

his skin color into his sketchy past, his communist friends, and all the

Include in this analysis all the white voters who voted for him, and laud him as the messiah, simply to prove to themselves that they are more evolved than their parents. The ones who suffer under some misguided notion that NOT voting for obama would make them racist. The ones who would live with some sense of ‘white guilt’; who are unable to accept that they may have benefited from ‘white privilege’ without it necessarily being racist. Libs/prog/lefties are simplistic thinkers; their naivete will be their downfall

          • Leende

Exactly! And our same sentiments, nc!
As in, how in the world did Grayson get re-elected. A whole lot of people, don’t know how, nor do they care to know how he acquired his money, either.

They didn’t just lynch blacks, the KKK, lynched white republicans who were trying to protect them.

“A compilation made at Tuskegee Institute showed that between 1882 and 1936 there were 4672 people lynched in the United States, of whom 3383 were black and 1289 were WHITE. Only the six New England states were free from lynchings during this period.”

Abraham Lincoln was the first REPUBLICAN president. Martin Luther King Jr was a registered REPUBLICAN. George Wallace was a DEMOCRAT. If you are too freaking stupid to figure out that it was the Dixiecrat’s that introduced the KKK, and Jim Crow laws, and that it was republican’s trying to stop the abuse and paying dearly for it in the south, just stop breathing, there is no point to your existence accept in using up other sentient being’s air.

The KKK was born in a democrat cigar room right after they lost the Civil War, and continues to be pure democrat to this day. No Conservatives, no Jews, no Catholics allowed in. There was a news story in 2008 that sort of shocked us: the KKK was urging it’s members to vote straight democrat –vote FOR obama– and forget the fact that obama was a half-black mulatto, because they did not want any GOP with a pro-life woman (Sarah Palin) in. Ever. An explanation followed, the KKK are pro-choice democrat to the core, and they want to keep abortion legal and franchised by the Govt BECAUSE it kills off more black babies than are born,so they reasoned eventually thru abortion the black race in America would be down to ‘manageable’ numbers.

The lie is that previous democrat’s became republicans. That somehow the dixiecrat’s flipped to republican. If that’s the case why aren’t they supporting dixiecrat’s agenda of segregation – pro abortion – no school voucher etc…It doesn’t hold up to scrutiny. If republican’s are for people having the choice to send their kids to good schools using the voucher program they are racist because it hurt’s the lousy public schools that have been subverted by teacher unions. If republicans are against abortion mills being set up in urban center’s to target minorities they are racist. Why would anyone want a minority woman burdened with a baby? That’s just racist/

I think the issue is people think that the party that is pandering to them is their champion – they aren’t they are just after power. How long has Obama been President? Black unemployment is 13% and even worse among black teens. If they raise minimum wage up to 10.10 because Obama loves him some poor people, and those same poor people are the ones that lose their jobs because of it. CBO projects 500 thousand. Well that’s not Obama that caused that, cause he loves him some poor people, he can’t help it if people already struggling just to survive have to lose their jobs so that minimum wage can be used as a “emotional” campaign issue. And of course republicans are racist for trying to protect any low income people’s jobs/

Republican’s can’t win, because they are applying logic and reason to people who only use their feelings to make decisions with.

I would love to tell everyone that the Dixiecrat’s died out, but there are photo’s here on twitchy of them giving Wendy Davis their mama’s shotgun.

They win because 1/3 of the population doesn’t care, 1/3 of the population are uninformed and therefore easily swayed by the emotional appeals of the progressive media raher than facts.

Thanks for bringing up the KKK, you know those Democrats that murdered the Blacks in the south; the ones that voted against freeing the slaves; voted against anti-lynching law; voted against civil rights; the ones in the white sheets. HOW could you confuse them with Republicans who want fiscal responsibility to keep us from going bankrupt? You should really learn your history.

  • Msgtdubb

Maybe Mr. Dick-in-son, just killed his political career. The country would be a better place with out him and Grayson. Bye Bye!

This guy reminds me of that Representative in Georgia (Johnson) who was afraid the island of Guam would cap size if we landed planes on it. What a hoot! Are Democrats just naturally stupid or do they have to go to school to learn how to be stupid?

  • gjsmith_62

Well, except the KKK were democrats, were terrorists and lynched blacks.

Care to name a single person lynched by the Tea Party

The democrats are the party of the mob, always have been always will be. Democrats to this day still support blatant state based racism via affirmative action.

Every time one of these politician accuse their opponent’s of being like the KKK, they are just exposing themselves for what they are really trying to conceal their true nature. I haven’t heard or read of “one” republican politician compare their democrat opponent to the KKK although it wouldn’t be off the mark.

  • RobNClt

KKK members are Democrats and the Tea Party is made up of mostly conservatives. He can get off that KKK lie about the Tea Party! I am black, I know where the KKK originated and I know Democrats started it the left perpetuates racial disharmony in this country.

    • FoxnewsisaTrojanhorse

      Liberalism is founded on racism.

They truly believe blacks are inferior, so they can’t be expected to be held to the same standards as whites. Likewise, liberals really believe that blacks can’t succeed without Big Brother stepping in to help them out.

As a homeschool mom who is teaching American history to my kids next year (4th and 5th grade), I looked for a curriculum that taught what really happened, not a revisionist history of what liberals WISHED had happened. I finally settled on one written in the 1970’s, from the generation before my own. It tells the truth about how most blacks were Republicans during the Reconstruction and about the origins of the KKK in the Democratic party, how the Democrats used intimidation as means to force blacks to vote Democrat.

This is an important part of history, and it saddens me that most Americans don’t know about it these days.

“Tainting the tea party movement with the charge of racism is proving to be an effective strategy for Democrats. There is no evidence that tea party adherents are any more racist than other Republicans, and indeed many other Americans. But getting them to spend their time purging their ranks and having candidates distance
themselves should help Democrats win in November. Having one’s opponent rebut
charges of racism is far better than discussing joblessness.” — Mary Frances

On September 28, 1868, a mob of Democrats massacred nearly 300 African-American Republicans in Opelousas, Louisiana. The savagery began when racist Democrats attacked a newspaper editor, a white Republican and schoolteacher for ex-slaves. Several African-Americans rushed to the assistance of their friend, and in response, Democrats went on a “Negro hunt,” killing every African-American (all of whom were Republicans) in the area they could find.

Which brings us to the arrival of the NRA in Opelousas, LA. http://www.anncoulter.com/columns/2012-04-18.html

Although desirable, it’ll never happen– they risk the ‘slippery slope’ of self-realization of their current racism as demonstrated by their destructive public policies effecting African-Americans and their desire to “amnesty” Illegals…all for their own political power.

    • Steve

True. Still once a lib “realizes” anything they stop being a lib in pretty short order.

Its almost a mental disorder, they truly can’t believe that they have created a world that is based on their crappy politics (how they blame anyone else for Detroit is beyond imagination). They have to create a world where someone else did it. They make up realities and are truly baffled that other people not similarly affected don’t believe them. They aren’t the cause of all the problems, so you must be. They really don’t see it.

Only thing that’s shocking is that there a so many of them…

It was also the Democratic Party that gave us Jim Crow laws, lynchings, and the modern enslavement of blacks in perpetual poverty, illiteracy, joblessness, the break-down of the African-American family, and the disproportionate abortion rate of black babies compared to other ethnic groups. Before lecturing the rest of America about race, the Democratic Party needs to get its skeletons, and white sheets, out of the closet first.

Typical. What’s the worst act of violence a Tea Party member ever perpetrated on an African-American? Uh, SUPPOSEDLY a couple of them spit on a black congressman and called him the n-word, but even that wasn’t quite true as the video of the event shows that everyone kept screaming “kill the bill,” and one guy’s saliva inadvertently landed on him.

Remember: the left wing WANTS the Tea Party to be a bunch of racists. If they aren’t racist, then this whole “they want to go back to this and that, while we want progress” is as meaningless as a promise from Nancy Pelosi.

  • Justan American

I know for a fact some liberal socialist “indoctrinators” are teaching in our school system that the “carpetbaggers”who came to the south were Republicans from Lincolns party and they started the KKK. They prove that by showing the KKK did not exist until after the Civil War when these “Northerners” showed up in the south. I guess they either fail to mention the fact Lincoln freed the slaves or probably teach that Lincoln was a Democrat. I know Nobama utilizes his Illinois Lincoln connection a lot. If I was any black leader I would avoid Jesse Jackson. The last one ended up dead and Jackson famously had his blood smeared across his white shirt….

Democrats- still trying to avoid their history or do they really believe everyone else changed to become worse than them?

  • PatrickInBeijing

Geez, what a fantasy! The Democrats who created the KKK all became Republicans after LBJ passed civil rights legislation. Look up Nixon’s Southern Strategy. Come on guys, why create revisionist history? Next you’ll be claiming that Southern slave owners wanted to end slavery, but the darn yankees wouldn’t let them. Silly rabbits, trix are for kids!

    • Arkuy The Great

“The Democrats who created the KKK…”

Talk about a fantasy. The Klan came into prominence in the 1910s and 20s, catalyzed largely by Democrat Woodrow Wilson’s almost fawning approval of the movie Birth Of A Nation. I am pretty sure that very few, if any, registered Democrats from 1920 switched to Republican in the 1970s.

The “southern strategy” came about because racism had been defanged as a political tool, thanks to Republican support for civil rights legislation and no thanks to prominent Democrats like Al Gore Sr. and William Fulbright who had filibustered for decades. The argument became economic, not racial. Smart southern pols dropped the racial angle and picked up the economic one, ultimately for the betterment of just about everyone south of Mason-Dixon as the last half-century has shown. Dumb southern pols kept their tired rhetoric (see Fulbright, Gore and Grand Kleagle Byrd).

      • PatrickInBeijing

Yes, the Democrats created the KKK. But during the 1960’s, as the national Democrats began to embrace the civil rights movement, the Southern Democrats moved into the Southern Republican Party and took it over. I know this, I was there and watched it happen. Smart Southern polls stopped TALKING about race, in fact one of the hallmarks of modern conservatism is denial of race and racism. But it is not true. FWIW, the Southern states are the poorest, least educated and have the worst social services. There has been little or no “betterment” for the poor, especially poor people of color. This doesn’t let the racists in the North off the hook, but really, you must live in an imaginary South. Look at the large demonstrations that have been going on in North Caroline.

        • Arkuy The Great

“during the 1960’s, as the national Democrats began to embrace the civil rights movement…”

They were decades behind the Republicans. Anyways, by your own admission the race angle ceased to be an operative political strategy by the early 1970s. Even George Wallace, after belatedly doing an about-face from “segregation forever” ran for a third term on a platform that explicitly rejected racism and asked forgiveness from the black population. And he remained a Democrat. QED.

          • PatrickInBeijing

Nice distortion!! During the 1970’s as part of Nixon’s Southern Strategy, the Republicans began to appeal to racism in the South using code words as part of their efforts to create a permanent Republican majority. This is in their own words!! Really. Now it is backfiring, but hey, there you go. Racism has been and still is a Republican angle. Shame on you for trying to rewrite history. Wouldn’t it be better to stop the racism?

          • Arkuy The Great

You mean “code words” like “white [n-bomb]”? That was a direct quote from Robert Byrd during the 2004 Presidential race. Nice try rewriting history!

          • PatrickInBeijing

I’ll apologize for Robert Byrd when you apologize for all the many many Republicans who make racist statements. Listen playing “gotcha” which is what you seem interested in, is a waste of time to me. My classes have started and I am busy with students. You can happily go along revising history and wondering why you can’t fool many people who aren’t racist, it’s okay. Have a nice day.

          • Arkuy The Great

Fine, take your ball and go home. The fact is that your side has to answer for Byrd and your disinterest in calling him to heel. You also have to answer for your myriad of great thinkers who routinely employ the ugliest racial imagery against their opponents who happen to be of color. All of this is happening now, in living memory. Hiding behind alleged Republican sins from 40 years ago does not absolve you. Have a nice day.

OK, Pat. How about you apologize for Lyndon Johnson, instead?

Lyndon Johnson remarking on civil rights in 1957:

These Negroes, they’re getting pretty uppity these days and that’s a problem for us since they’ve got something now they never had before, the political pull to back up their uppityness. Now we’ve got to do something about this, we’ve got to give them a little something, just enough to quiet them down, not enough to make a difference. For if we don’t move at all, then their allies will line up against us and there’ll be no way of stopping them, we’ll lose the filibuster and there’ll be no way of putting a brake on all sorts of wild legislation. It’ll be Reconstruction all over again.

    • QueenB

Trix are for kids, so why do you keep falling for them? Take a look at how court cases have been decided, and basically every decision ever made on civil rights. Hate to break it for you, but it is the republicans who come down on the side of individual liberty and democrats who come down on more power to the state. I’m sure you’ve seen what happens to any black conservative that dares utter their conservatism, haven’t you? Liberals come out of the woodwork to display their complete and total racism. Scratch a liberal, find a bigot. Every single time.

      • PatrickInBeijing

Umm, it is the Republicans who want to sit with my girlfriend when she talks to a doctor. It is the Republicans who have so demanded tons of rules before they will give even a penny to a poor person. The only government the Republicans don’t like is that which tries to make rich people behave. Just watch Republicans whine as Hagel tries to trim the defense budget. Smaller government!! LOL

        • Jared Small

Wow you think it is cool to trim the budget of a group of people who actually do something. I wish you were so caviler when it came to cutting welfare.

          • PatrickInBeijing

Yeah, the Military Industrial Complex is great at building six thousand dollar toilets. Remember the Pentagon cannot be audited because their record keeping is bad. And we shipped planeloads of cash to Afghanistan which just vanished into thin air. Defense Contractor = thief.

          • Jared Small

Yeah all that money that feeds families with BAQ is totally negligent. But I Digress.

By your own reasoning we should cut cut welfare because of fraud and mismanagement. So at least your logic is consistent?

          • PatrickInBeijing

I don’t dislike the military. I just think it has gotten out of control. The US military budget is larger than the entire rest of the world combined. Direct and indirect spending accounts for over 30% of the US economy. We are out of balance. In addition, the Pentagon needs to be auditable, no excuses. If the generals in charge can’t run it better, fire them and find new ones. Eventually some private who dropped out of business school will figure it out (LOL). I am fully in favor of auditing welfare and medicaid. If you know of real fraud, turn it in. I am not in favor of cutting it where there is a need. I don’t see the need for such a huge military. Given our recent experiences in Iraq and Afghanistan, how many more wars do we need to fight before we get tired of them?

          • Jared Small

Fair enough. Your stated position is reasonable. ; – )

        • QueenB

We’ll go though this ridiculousness point by point.

“It is the Republicans who want to sit with my girlfriend when she talks to a doctor.”
WHAT? Seriously, where did you come up with this? If you honestly believe this, in all seriousness, I hope you get some help. Delusions of this magnitude really need to be treated with medication. That being said, there was a law recently passed by democrats and ONLY democrats that force any doctor your girlfriend may visit to ask her about her sex life. Those doctors are then forced by this law to enter the information into a government database. That is the Affordable Care Act (ACA), aka Obamacare.

“It is the Republicans who have so demanded tons of rules before they will give even a penny to a poor person.”
You really think that if someone claims poverty, to the point of asking (or demanding) that other people (taxpayers) pay for their lives, they should not have to prove they are truly needy and not just gaming the system? Now, if you don’t have a job or don’t pay taxes, I could see how you wouldn’t have a problem with this. However, if you are out there busting your butt to support your family, doing without the wants to be sure you can afford the needs, you may have a problem with someone who does not truly need the help getting some of your hard earned money.

“The only government the Republicans don’t like is that which tried to make rich people behave.”
What does this even mean? I assume you are actually referring to paying “their fair share” of taxes. I also assume you are completely unaware that those awful 1%-ers (lots of politicians in that category btw, including and especially democrats) already pay a vast majority of the income taxes in this country. By the way, can you explain to me how wanting to keep the money you earn is greedy, but wanting to take money you don’t earn from the person who did earn it, isn’t greedy? Can you explain that?

“Just watch Republicans whine as Hagel tries to trim the defense budget. Smaller government!! LOL”
Oddly enough. providing a military for the common defense is actually one of the few responsibilities of the federal government expressly written in the constitution. So while you want the federal government to spend money on anything and everything that is not their responsibility, you have a problem with spending on one of the very few things that actually is their responsibility. Now I’m sure you thought you had an awesome “gotcha” there, but all it really did was prove, beyond a doubt, that you are very ignorant of how our government is supposed to work.

          • PatrickInBeijing

LOL. And this is why America is divided. But, really, if the Republicans hadn’t been better at gerrymandering, they would control nothing. They lost the Presidential and Congressional popular vote by quite a bit. Only their district drawing saved them. At some point, it no longer will. And all of your guys will vanish into history.

          • QueenB

Gerrymandering. That’s it!? That’s your response? Lol. Go away kid, ya bother me. The adults are talking.

          • yvette rideaux

I never said that. There are many whites need the government help as well. Many dont have jobs or can’t work for varies reasons need goverment help. Minorities that have improvished have to rely on assistance and so do many white. Hell, in fact the welfare system was designed to help improvish white people first and the white farmers of this country.

          • QueenB

Here is my intent. The Tea Party does not support anyone but their own agenda. They shut the government down hurting millions like the military. It was sinful to say the least. Democratics and Republican alike were stupid for perpetuating the government shut down.

          • Jared Small

The shutdown had no effect on the economy. It was not an intelligent strategy. Both sides were to blame.

However, asking the government to not waste money and crash our economy along with the currency is a fair request. Why is it you would probably agree (and I am making an assumption) that spending on your credit cards well beyond you ability to ever pay them back- is not a wise choice?

          • yvette rideaux

Now, this is an intelligent post. Yes, the government shut down was drastic for the those needed their paychecks from the government like those serving in the military, people who recieve social security and lastly those who work for the government. You can’t assume what I would think about this matter and nor should I assume you would think a certain way. No, it is not good to over spend credit to potentially send the country into a bankruptcy state and ruin the country’s credit rating.

          • Jared Small

You seem to agree that the Tea Party position is reasonable. Sooo- you actually agree with the Tea Party whose position is not racist. : – ) My assumption was correct that you do not like overspending into bankruptcy.

And stating that one is “assuming” is another way of conversationally asking a question. One that saves time in a posting back and forth.

          • yvette rideaux

I never stated that the Tea Party wasn’t racist. I said that they are racist.:).

          • Jared Small

Yvette the Tea Party is not racist or the KKK. They do not have a racist platform. The Tea party has Black White Asian and Hispanic membership. The Tea Party has supported Black White Asian and Hispanic candidates- male and female alike.

The Tea Party is not the KKK. The KKK is an invention of Democrats and has had Democrat sympathies for over 100 years. Historical fact. Sorry to inform you. Current policies of the Democratic Party actually hurt the black population they pretend to be helping- not the Tea Party.

The Tea Party is not happy with Obama but here is the thing… If it were Hillary leftists would call them misogynists. If it were Biden in charge then the Tea Party would “hate” something else made up and be another form of an “ist”. But what you fail to see is the Tea Party would treat Hillary, Reed, Barack, and Biden all the same no matter what their background.

And you do agree with the Tea Party. You said

“it is not good to over spend credit to potentially send the country into a bankruptcy state and ruin the country’s credit rating.”

The saddest thing about throwing out the unfounded racist charge is that when an actual act of bigotry occurs- everyone will have been desensitized. Because false charges desensitize, in the aggregate we (society) are probably be less inclined to take an accusation of racism seriously. And the cumulative effect of what you are doing right now helps the actual bigots that exist. Sad but true. : – (

Remember the boy who cried wolf?

I used to be afraid to say I like the Tea Party because of people like you and the false charges. Not anymore. I am happy to educate the mistaken or misguided.

          • yvette rideaux

Thanks for the information, but corrrect me. I have not once a black person nor an Asian in the Tea Party. Now, maybe a Hispanic could have been seen in the group. Save the Tea Party education for someone who does not know what’s goingon. But, again I will say and continue to say that The Tea Party is racist in every since of the word. The current republican and democratic parties dont really anyone’s interest at heart. In the last 35 years or so the country went from prosperous to living in constant economic fear because of our beloved politicians and then there is Tea Party is the biggest joke out in the political landscape. If you ask me the only politicians that had blacks best interests was the Late Presidents Kennedy (John and Robert) and Johnson.

          • http://commentspammersmustdie.blogspot.com/ Kakarot

Yeah, yeah. Yvette. We know. Anyone who dares oppose the Chosen One is by definition racist.

      • yvette rideaux

The tea party is the modern day kkk with their idiot thinking process, same for the kkk of yester year with their hideous violence against minorities and other ethnic groups.

        • QueenB

Any evidence of this violence? One would think if anyone in world had evidence they would have collected the reward by now. But no, there it sits…..waiting.

          • yvette rideaux

Please don’t patronize me! You need to do your homework kid. You know exactly what the post was talking about. Jewish whites went the samething violent that not justified. The history books will tell you a vast amount of information please read okay!!

          • QueenB

Not patronizing you. There is truly an aware for any evidence of racism or violence against minorities by the Tea Party that remains unclaimed. As you seem to believe there is a vast amount of this evidence, surly someone would have claimed the reward by now. The press would LOVE to have actual evidence of what you speak and would cover the hell out of it. As far as history books, it is obvious you have never cracked one open. Democrats were the party that fought to keep slavery, instituted Jim Crow laws and created the KKK. While you’re brushing up on your history, you may also want to see if you can learn how to type a coherent sentence.

          • http://commentspammersmustdie.blogspot.com/ Kakarot

English your first language it is not, seems it to be, maybe?

          • yvette rideaux

            English your first language.

        • Fred Doe

Present evidence of your slanderous lies or admit that is what they are.

          • yvette rideaux

You know Mr. Doe, you are an idiot. What lies did I tell? There no slanderous lies to tell. That’s the problem with whites that have a major problem with minorities that they the truth. You always feel that we have to lie to make a point. Do your homework before you write to me! Listen to the news, read the magazines, what the news shows, if if I am telling a lie then these references are lies that we all read.

        • Jared Small

I do not ever remember the KKK championing black candidates and having black membership. And the KKK was founded by southern state democrats who lost the civil war. Woodrow Wilson thought ‘Birth of a Nation’ was a great movie and asked every one to watch it. Roosevelt sent Japanese to special camps.

It is not idiotic to expect everyone to follow the same set of rules, spend money reasonably / responsibly, and in general expect the government to mind their own business. Yeah that sounds so totally crazy (sarcasm).

The Tea Party scares you and it is not because of your false charge of racism. It is something deeper that will erode an agenda towards Social Democracy that you seem to desire.

          • yvette rideaux

you know should be a comedian. this post is a real joke. The tea party does not scare me as you put it. It is all of the racists in this country that keep pertuating bias and racism that persist. Example the bullshit in Arizona using religion to justify discriminating against gay people.

          • Jared Small

Do not try to change the subject

Read the actual legislation- not commentary.

The Arizona bill is not Tea Party platform backed.

Personally- I would afford a gay Unitarian florist the right to not serve The Wesboro Baptist church if they ordered flowers.

That being said I DO NOT support the Arizona law. It inflames tensions only to codify what is basically codified Federally. And if any case went forward after the law passed it is still up to the same judicial discretion and would have the same outcome.

Please get your history correct. Read some source materials and not commentary. And don’t change the subject to something else when you have been proven wrong.

In your mind is it possible someone can despise Barack Obama and not be a racist? Is it possible that someone only supports Obama because he is black? I dislike Obama but I had the same feelings about Gore and Clinton (take your pick).

          • yvette rideaux

I will change the subject, and add to the subject as I see fit to get my point across. I am showing how the conservative nature of Republicans and Democratics being stupid enough to use religion to justify the tactic of discrimation against gay people. Listen, I dont have anything against anyone. But, when you try to twist words around to suite what you want to believe in to be the right thing is very bad. This is what I think you are trying to do.

  • Doug Williams

That battle lasted for hours..needless to say, they got schooled

  • Doug Williams

    And thanks Twitchy.

  • Liberty Lover

Hahahahaha I wouldn’t even wipe my arse with this stupid article, the tea party and kkk are not the same you jackass. Thats the only political stand point you stupid liberals have on your side is race baiting since failure is acceptable!!! Obama is a federal dictator, you like him you can keep him!

  • Bruce

People really should just start referring to the Democrats as Nazi-Lite. They’ve got all the hallmarks: antisemitism (they hate israel), they repeat lies until people think they are true (Goebbels), they and their allies physically attack or intimidate their opponents (Black Panthers/union thugs). I don’t think I really even need to give details on the socialist bent of the Democrats and the National Socialist Worker’s Party. In addition, some of them, such as Roseanne Barr, have even called for non-progressives to be tossed in “reeducation camps.”

  • Oink Trotters

    Really? Twitchy deleted my comment?
