He didn’t mean to, but Fox News’ Mike Tobin just gave CNN’s Erin Burnett a lesson on how to deal with uninvited on-air hecklers. After seeing this, we have to image the Infowars “reporter” who broke into CNN’s broadcast would be having a bullhorn removed from his mouth if he’d tried this with Tobin.

A true professional like Tobin knows there’s a time and a place for heckling, and the middle of a story about a lethal terrorist attack is not that time.

    Very smooth.

  • Clayton Grant

That was quick reflexes, but I like the way this reporter in NOLA handled an on-air interruption.

    • Adela Wagner

HAHA Thanks for the laughs. That reporter was quick thinking.

Still trying to figure out how you embed videos on Twitchy.

      • Clayton Grant

Just copy / paste the URL

        • http://twitter.com/LNSmithee L.N. Smithee

Tried that above. All that shows is the link, not the video.

          • Patrick Dennehy

            you can’t embed

Not only was he smooth and cool, he was also POLITE, said “Please” haha loved it.

Yup. It was good and just imagine the tension on the ground in Boston for the past week. Sudden movements probably not welcome. Great job Mike…….

Boston Strong! A big THANK YOU to any and all law enforcement, local or federal, as well as the residents for the events of this past week.

Deepest condolences to the victims, family and friends of those affected. Boston Strong!

  • Billie Slash

Hey, these two bimbos just wanted to congratulate FOX for crushing their competition in the ratings–they prolly work for CNN, because the ladies at MSNBC don’t kiss guys…..bam!

  • ctmom

    at least he said Please!

  • http://mikespoliticalmusings.blogspot.com/ Cynical Mike

Wow! Great reflexes, Mike. Megyn & Martha should really know better.

  • ZoriahShepard

Didn’t miss a beat! Nice job.

  • 1SkepticalChick

What? They came at him. All he did was block them. I don’t see any pushing there. Then he said “Please don’t do that.” Nice but firm. That’s a professional.

    • Canadian in USA

Used his forearms too instead of his hands – that way, he doesn’t get into trouble with “inappropriate touching”. Nicely done.

      • 1SkepticalChick

        Self defense 101. He’s good.

    • CitizenEgg

He defended himself from an unwanted sexual assault. Sounds weird when you put it that way because he’s a man, right? Who wouldn’t want to be slobbered over by 2 random women of indeterminate mental health? It’s all in good fun I’m sure.

      • 1SkepticalChick

Or oral health….plus, did you get a look at them?

        • bluewaternavy

I did look-please pass the brain bleach!

  • NeoKong

    Wow…That was pretty smooth.

  • Lynn R

He is pretty hot! Wonder how often that happens.

Don’t mess with a guy that takes his job seriously. You’ll get whacked next time.

  • http://twitter.com/LNSmithee L.N. Smithee

I much preferred Steve Brown’s body check of a drunken Ohio State Buckeyes fan when reporting the passing of legendary Michigan coach Bo Schembechler.

  • John

After what he went through in Milwaukee, he could handle a pair of nutjobs in his sleep.

  • David Johnson

Professional & polite. He said please don’t do that. When they got off there butts & were off looking for cnn/msnbc reporters.

  • unklbrad

It might be different if either one was even remotely cute.

  • disqus_FlD2VMR2RJ

Please send Mike Tobin to play for the Houston Texans. They could use him on the offensive line so the mediocre team here might actually have a chance at the Super Bowl.

  • nc

Mike Tobin is one of those reporters that has been in the thick of war and can handle pretty much anything. I remember one time he had injured his hand during an attack in Israel. He merely duck-taped it up and kept on going.

A couple of pesky girls? Pfft.

  • Kurlis

He should have gone with it.

  • Ntr

Mike Tobin, as a conservative, is a natural alpha.

And, in response to this video, the “collective” of the libiot keyboard warrior betas let out a disheartened sigh from their parents’ basements.

  • Jarhead83

    Lucky bastard…

    • therantinggeek

Had to watch the YouTube clip frame-by-frame. Those two girls weren’t exactly pretty…

  • Patrick Dennehy

Great peripheral vision and double stiff arm technique!

  • NRPax

I’m impressed. Maintained his bearing, didn’t go overboard, continued with his job. Bravo!

  • John Thomas “Jack” Ward III

    I don’t know if anyone else noticed, but the one on his right looked like a guy…I guess the people of Boston wanted to thank Fox News (In some way) for their honest, straight-forward reporting, in spite of the rumors and mis-information going around… Jawamax 8<{D}

  • J.N. Ashby

I don’t see why people find these two women SEXUALLY ASSAULTING Mike Tobin funny. If it had been two guys doing that to a woman, we’d be all up in arms. #Doublestandards #IamMANhearmeroar

  • http://baldilocks-talking.blogspot.com/ Juliette Akinyi Ochieng

He looks terrified by the redhead. lol

  • neoface

Two lamebrains trying to get their 5 second of fame. Very inappropriate!!!

  • JustLikeAnimals

Great peripheral vision and situational awareness! Love it!! He never missed a beat!! Haha!

  • Mike Peterson

Way to be professional, and stay on point, even under adversity, and I would have loved to see Erin Burnett make that bullhorn fool eat his horn.
