Democrat Eric Swalwell’s sexcapades were an 'open secret' in California politics and on Capitol Hill, according to several ‘journalists’ who covered it up. Of course, outside of a panicky Ruben Gallego, who acknowledged rumors were circulating about Swalwell, many Democrats are pretending they never knew. On Friday, House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries was asked point-blank about the years of rumors swirling around Swalwell.
You can guess how he reacted. (WATCH)
Question: Some Democrats have said they’ve known about the Swalwell rumors for years. Shouldn’t you have known as leader?

Jeffries: *Avoids question entirely* https://t.co/ABuSJ6gEPS pic.twitter.com/nr57ZTTSGd
A very courageous Jeffries 😬

He’s incapable of anything other than regurgitating a script like an autamaton

Jeffries is more machine than man at this point, but not in a cool Robocop sort of way. He's like a fax machine that spews out whatever is fed into him from his staffers.
Check out this fax-like flashback where Jeffries was extolling ‘champion’ Eric Swalwell while deriding ‘extreme MAGA Republicans.’ (WATCH)
Last year Jeffries said that Eric Swalwell was nothing like extreme MAGA Republicans. Guess he was right. pic.twitter.com/cy1Rj6be5J https://t.co/tyKSb2uPtp

Temu obama was right for the first time! Congratulations!👏👏👏

Yep, Swalwell is nothing like MAGA.
Almost in unison, Democrats are claiming they have been blindsided by what’s coming out about Swalwell. Here’s California Representative Robert Garcia. (WATCH)
Yet another CA Democrat pleads ignorance:

Robert Garcia claims he had never heard the rumors about Swalwell, saying “I’m newer to Congress." https://t.co/lXckGubrEA pic.twitter.com/KpHpGzjrgg
Must be wax buildup in his ears.
Apparently, Ted Lieu is also in the dark about his fellow California Democrat. (WATCH)
Another CA Democrat pleads ignorance:

Ted Lieu says he "had no idea" about Swalwell until the SF Chronicle report was published. https://t.co/1uhvIOse1D pic.twitter.com/qLv4TPfVbN
He didn’t know about Ed Buck either.
Swalwell’s Russian hoax buddy, Adam Schiff, is also claiming he knew nothing about him. (WATCH)
Adam Schiff says he didn’t know anything about what his Russiagate junior partner Eric Swalwell was doing.

“If I had, I wouldn't have gone near him with a ten foot pole."
Ruben Gallego, Schiff’s Democrat colleague in the Senate, has said “we all heard rumors for many years." https://t.co/ZPLkTI9dFC pic.twitter.com/CovKk9y3uT
They don’t call him 'Shifty Schiff' for nothing.
The most visible Democrat bucking the trend is Swalwell’s BFF Ruben Gallego. (WATCH)
Gallego: “We all heard rumors in Washington, DC about Eric Swalwell for many years."

Yesterday, Pelosi denied she and other Democrats ever heard about what Swalwell was doing. https://t.co/VrKdlWfEQT pic.twitter.com/5HU7c2pjDu
Gallego is likely going down next. He’s already being accused of unwanted sexual advances.
The Queen Bee of the Democrat Party, Nancy Pelosi, said she heard no Capitol Hill buzz about Swalwell.
A flustered Nancy Pelosi denies that Democrats knew what Swalwell was doing and turned a blind eye:

Pelosi: “Absolutely not true."
Interviewer: "You had no idea?"
Pelosi: “None whatsoever."
Sure thing, Nance. pic.twitter.com/MmVHf3Wt3x
It wasn't ignorance, it was the vodka... pic.twitter.com/pKx41BgkGS
— Slaps Stroganoff (@SlapsStroganoff) April 17, 2026
They all knew, especially Jeffries and Pelosi.
— WeR1 (@jatony57) April 17, 2026
Of course, they knew. Both of them know what’s going on in their own party at all times. They chose to look the other way until Swalwell’s usefulness ran out and they feared losing the California governor’s race.
