You know how tough guy Jimmy Kimmel unloaded on Fox News’ Brian Kilmeade during his monologue last night, telling Kilmeade “I’ll pound you when I see you”? Sounded an awful lot like a threat. At the very least, you can be sure that if Kimmel were a conservative and Kilmeade were a liberal, the media would’ve had an aneurysm.
But that’s not what happened, is it?

Guess we did. The New York Times’ Sopan Deb can’t seem to muster enough righteous indignation to defend Kilmeade from Kimmel’s threat. In fact, Deb doesn’t think Kimmel’s threat was a threat at all:
