In his speech yesterday announcing his impending retirement, GOP Sen. Jeff Flake cited “the present coarseness of our national dialogue with the tone set up at the top.” In other words, he’s had enough of Trump. You’d think the DNC would eat that up — and evidently, you’d be wrong:

Exactly this. They should be applauded & encouraged. That doesn't mean I forgive their prior complicity, votes, or politics. Today's words don't erase those things. But neither do past actions make today's words less powerful. All or nothing thinking is what got us here.
