How could something like this have happened? They seemed like such a great group of serious, responsible, conservative people.

I think this might be an over-reaction, Heath. They deleted the thread and didn’t run away from the things they were accused of. We should always reject those who don’t put #PrinciplesFirst, but I’m not sure the Lincoln Project is in that group.

It’s not just the tweet thread. It’s their knowledge of Weaver’s conduct and the amount of money they have paid themselves in connection with their services to the group.
