Iowahawk seems more than a little tired of the media’s schtick. And frankly, we’re right there with him. Just when you think our best and bravest firefighters can’t get any more insufferable, they manage to surprise us.
Their reputation is in the toilet — and it’s completely their fault:
Since when is it journalism to obsess over what your rival networks are doing? Whatever happened to, you know, covering the news?
I’ve seen more Fox News in the last six months simply by going to CNN’s website than I have in the last 5 years combined

God forbid the media stop humping their own leg for two seconds and actually do their job.
No one loves the media like people in media do.

They are each other’s biggest fans & target audience

Yep. The only thing they love more than themselves is stirring the pot.
Cable news channels are the poo-flinging apes, and Twitter is the dung beetle colony that depends on them.

It's really remarkable; half my feed is about the OUTRAGEOUS thing Smirkerson said about McSmugley on RESISTANCE FIST, and the other half is about the OUTRAGEOUS thing McSmugley said about Smirkerson on THE PATRIOT FACTOR

And the media are loving every single minute of it.
from time to time, it's good to remember there's a multibillion dollar industry based on keeping you in a perpetual state of stupidity, rage, resentment, and paranoia.
