Well, now it’s official: NBC has scrubbed Megyn Kelly from their line-up over her remarks about dressing up as someone of another race for Halloween.
JUST IN: NBC News spokesperson: “Megyn Kelly Today is not returning. Next week, the 9 a.m. hour will be hosted by other TODAY co-anchors.”

And there you have it.
Megyn Kelly wasn't "defending blackface" – she remembered it being OK when she was a kid for dressing up as your black hero – not for a minstrel show. She was wrong, but that's a conversation, not a fireable offense. Are we living in the university now?https://t.co/mV66TY0LME

NBC was looking for a reason to can her and finally found one. https://t.co/KUtkcyPBrG

She's leaving with $69 million. Chill everyone, she is fine.

NBC says "Megyn Kelly Today" has been cancelled. (Well, they say it's "not returning.") Kelly's attorney Bryan Freedman says "Megyn remains an employee of NBC News and discussions about next steps are continuing."

There are nicer ways to tell someone their show isn't working out (it wasn't) and figure out how to find a better fit without throwing them to the wolves, under a bus. What she actually said, vs. what is being reported she said, are different. And it certainly wasn't fireable. https://t.co/1ZH3Ls3iyV
