As Twitchy told you yesterday, Democratic Rep. Frederica Wilson blasted Donald Trump for allegedly disrespecting fallen Green Beret La David Johnson in remarks to his widow.
This afternoon, Gen. John Kelly stepped up to the podium to speak about what happened — and to call out those like Wilson who have chosen to politicize Johnson’s death.
With his unique perspective as a Gold Star father, Kelly’s words were particularly poignant and powerful:
