When you spend as much time as I do covering X (formerly Twitter), it's easy to get jaded and even a little cynical because there is a whole lot of awful on social media.
Especially on X since Elon Musk has really improved on the ability for people to say what they want. Even if it's stupid and sucks.
Which is a good thing.
That being said, reading a lot of awful can cause someone like me to expect the worst, especially on holidays because again, people on social media can be awful. But, every once in a while, something lovely and wonderful crosses my timeline and I'm reminded that under all of that social media ugliness, people for the most part are good.

Sometimes X is the best. A lot of the time, it's pretty nasty and annoying and awful and probably would smell like a dirty old basement if it had a scent but this is a reminder that there is good there.
Such a wonderful thing to see on Memorial Day.
