Long ago (long, long, LONG ago), the mister and I (and our brand-new baby girl) moved to Silicon Valley, which, at the time, was terrifying but, looking back, was probably one of the smartest decisions we made along the way. That being said, when we moved there, we both had to update our driver's licenses, which hadn't been a problem in other states, but was INSANE in California.
Especially as a married woman.
Yup, it's true. My legal driver's license, which was good enough in four other states (yes, being married to a successful web guy can feel like you're in the military because you move a lot), was NOT good enough in California.
DA DA DAAAAA!
Nope. I had to prove I was married, which is why my last name was different from my birth certificate. Exactly what Democrats like Adam Schiff are claiming will 'disenfranchise' voters if they're made to prove their legal right to vote when registering.
Watch this:
A birth certificate AND your marriage license.

If you changed your name after you got married, like the First Lady, the 'SAVE America Act' will demand you provide BOTH documents in order to prove your identity and vote in the next election if you don’t have a passport. pic.twitter.com/uW45rMMLno
He's such a wick with a d.
Bringing up Melania to dunk on a bill that 80% of people in America want.
And he KNOWS how hard it is just to get a freaking driver's license IN HIS STATE ...
Honestly, if he's so worried about women being too stupid to know how to register legally to vote, he should really take a look at the laws in his own BLUE STATE first.
