For weeks (months), our pals on the Left and in the media have been trying to push the narrative that Trump's support is fractured and the GOP is divided, likely in an effort to do the legwork for Democrats in the 2026 midterms.
I know, it feels like we just got done with an election (especially here in Virginia, and don't EVEN get me started on the mess we have on our hands come January here), but anymore, it seems that we are constantly in campaign mode for one race or another.
Ultimately, this means elected officials never really do much for their constituents in their capacity, because they're always busy thinking about the next election. Still, I digress, as I usually do.
This push from the media to make Americans believe there is a unity problem on the Right is pretty desperate and pathetic.
Case in point, The Hill is taking one incident from Trump where people were unhappy with him and using it to claim that the crack is WIDER now.
Even though there is no real crack to begin with.
MORNING REPORT: Cracks in Trump’s GOP widen over Reiner comments, AI https://t.co/MuJuT0aVQq
— The Hill (@thehill) December 16, 2025
Blah blah *eye roll* blah.
From The Hill:
The rifts within President Trump’s coalition grew Monday as members of his own party pushed back against controversial comments he made regarding the death of Hollywood director Rob Reiner and an executive order regulating artificial intelligence (AI) nationwide.
Trump posted on social media about the death of Reiner, an actor, director and longtime critic of the president, and his wife, alleging they died as a result of “Trump derangement syndrome,” which the president and his allies regularly accuse their detractors of having.
I hate to break it to the Left, Democrats, and the mainstream media, but we can disagree with Trump and still support him as our president. Sure, there were plenty of people on the Right who weren't happy about his post (I, for one, was not thrilled, but I also understood why he posted it), but I'm not seeing any massive exodus on the Right.
Quite the contrary.
Which is probably WHY they're so determined to spin how 'fractured' we are.
Lame.
So lame.
They never learn.
