One of the things it appears Trump learned after his first term was to be cautious about whom he trusted and did not trust when making hiring decisions for his administration. To be fair, after his blow-up with Elon Musk, I'm now not exactly 100% sure he thoroughly learned this lesson, BUT I can't quite give up on the possibility that Trump and Elon could still make peace. All of that being said, there were plenty of a-holes from his first term, some so blatantly anti-Trump and willing to sabotage him that they bragged about it.

Trump revoked his security clearance in April of this year. So he filed a formal request to the Inspector General to investigate Trump for using his presidency to punish dissent.
