People on the Left are so fixated on revenge politics, on somehow getting even with a faceless, nameless person or group for all of the ills they face in the world they're incapable of seeing reality or understanding why people do good things. They are literally convinced that some rich white guy is out there trying to destroy Democracy ...

Since so much of what they say and do is based on resentment and division, the idea of anyone working to make the lives of Americans better JUST BECAUSE they should is foreign to them.
They don't trust it.
For example, the idea of Elon Musk working to shrink the government just because it's the right thing to do somehow confuses Jemele Hill. She is so convinced that rich people hate average people that she thinks something must in it for him ...
In other words, she just doesn't get it and these posts maker her look far worse than it does him.
Serious question: Why are U.S lawmakers obligated to meet with Elon Musk when he’s part of a made-up governmental body that has no real authority or control? What am I missing?

Why wouldn't he? When life is more affordable for everyone our country thrives, when our country thrives people make more money ... that's how it's supposed to work.Not everything is about resentment and revenge.
