I've made my distaste and dislike of Liz Cheney no secret over the years now. In the beginning, I thought she was great, especially the whole Wyoming connection and of course, getting to meet and have lunch with her was super cool as well. I remember almost apologizing to her for my Twitter account which if you follow me you know isn't exactly rainbows and butterflies, and she said to me, 'You say the things I wish I could say.' True story.
So of course, I was simply politically enamored of her and SO excited when she finally won in Wyoming. Even then (way back in 2015), Wyomingites were understandably concerned about her being a carpet bagger and not actually representing them as a people. I hate to admit it, but I did try and help her get elected, and eventually she was.
At first, it was awesome. She was everything I thought she would be. Pro-America, pro-Constitution, pro-life, pro-gun, pro-secure borders ... heck, she even liked Trump before I did, voting with him 93% of the time. But then it all changed and I felt like I'd been suckered, lied to and even used. Especially when she was appointed to Nancy Pelosi's January 6th Committee where she enabled the government to punish people for disagreeing with it. Oh, she still claims it was about law and order but ultimately what transpired was anything but.
Not to mention we all know now they manipulated and even destroyed some evidence.
What a huge disappointment she has been not only to me, but to Wyoming (who fired her, yay!), and the country in general. And NOW she's donating money to Democrats because she claims the most important thing is defeating Trump. Forget Democrat-rule is destroying the country, her personal vendetta against Donald is what's most important.
From the Wyoming Cowboy Daily:
A campaign organization run by former Wyoming congresswoman Liz Cheney has been actively paying into and receiving donations through a Democratic fundraising platform this year.
According to campaign finance information filed with the Federal Election Commission, Cheney’s Our Great Task super political action committee paid $8,662 to ActBlue Technical Services in June. It also received $159,510 through the group in June.
People can directly donate to Our Great Task on ActBlue, showing that Cheney is looking to appeal to voters of all stripes with her campaign to prevent former President Donald Trump from winning another term.
This aligns with the mission of her group, which states on its website that “Republicans, Democrats, Independents must work together to ensure Donald Trump and those who have enabled him are defeated.”
What a heifer.
