I seriously have to wonder because no matter how hard they push it, no matter how much they lie, how much Kamala Harris lies her backside off about how Americans are THANKFUL for this economy wherever she goes, it's not getting over. To be fair, plenty of us are making fun of it, building our own memes mocking President Silver Alert and his claims of creating ALL THE JOBS, so it's sort of getting over ... but not in the way they wanted.
And it's certainly not at all the fault of the propaganda arm of the Democratic Party aka the mainstream media.

Why oh WHY would Americans still feel squeezed?! Biden fixed everything! Silly goose! Inflation is only up a little bit ... BIDENOMICS.

Americans give more weight to their ability to stretch their income than to federal data on inflation. While the cost of key goods and services has stabilized, prices at grocery stores, restaurants and the gas pump are still much higher than they were before Covid-19 rocked the economy. Overall, consumer prices have jumped by around 17 percent since February 2020.
In other words, when we can't afford to put food on our tables and are literally watching the cost of gas climb higher and higher in real-time, the government's data doesn't really mean a damn thing to us. 'Oh, inflation only went up a little bit in July? Psh, what was I thinking being worried about my 401K and having to choose between paying electricity or water as I live paycheck-to-paycheck? The data says we're golden so YAY, BIDEN!'
They don't get it because it doesn't impact them the way it does everyday Americans. It's only those pesky Americans in flyover country who are being impacted, and we all know they're evil Trump voters anyway so they deserve it. Not to mention they drive big mean trucks that are killing the environment and stuff.
I am, of course, joking a little bit, but not entirely. That's who they really are, who they've always been.
Otherwise, they wouldn't sit so snugly and comfortably in Biden's back pocket ... oooh, sorry for that visual. But you get what I mean. They could join us in ripping this administration apart for what it's down to this country (while asking to send billions more to Ukraine), but politics is more important than people and who are we to believe our lying eyes anyway?!
