As Twitchy readers know, Michael Avenatti was taken into custody last night on charges of domestic abuse. And of course, the infamous lawyer is already insisting he’s innocent, that the charges are ‘bogus,’ and he will clear his name.
Michael Avenatti just told reporters the domestic abuse charges are “completely bogus,” he will fight to clear his name

What is that legal term again? Innocent until proven guilty? Surely Avenatti would like us all to assume his innocence here right? And c’mon, he’s been so good about assuming innocence about others in his very public past …
Sounds like a Supreme Court Confirmation Hearing I saw once. Presumption of innocence is always a good place to start. https://t.co/kXbUkDXcV3

Oh, that nugget.
And gosh, would that Supreme Court Justice be Brett Kavanaugh?
Karma anyone?
Oh so these are FAKE CHARGES? Sucks huh #Avenetti when you are the target! #HYPOCRITE

The Democrat Party would do well to remember that karma is a real thing. Democrat party is all about politics of personal destruction! But, It’s a universal truth, what goes around, comes around. They might think they got away with trying to destroy a good man but, wait for it…

God has a sense of humor.

It certainly seems that He does.
And while the presumption of innocence and the requirement that the charges be proved beyond a reasonable doubt apply to his criminal charges, by the standards he applied to Kavanaugh his reputation and professional standing should already be shredded.

Exept the police were involved, he was arrested, he is a grown man and the charges were brought immediately. Now imagine someone accused you with no evidence of sexual assault when you were 15 or 17, 36 years later?

Like what Kavanaugh went through.
Bingo.

Bonus points for the Dean Winchester animated gif.
I love his statement…”thank you to all my supporters, you know me as a man.” And then what?

It was weird.
What goes around comes around!

It does indeed.
