The Keith Ellison Campaign has denied all domestic abuse charges stemming from a Facebook post written by Austin Monahan, son of Karen Monahan. In addition to the Facebook post, an unverified account claiming to be Karen Monahan insisted the story was true.
Austin Aslim Monahan — the son of @KarenMonahan01 — wrote a Facebook post alleging abuse against his mother carried out by @KeithEllison. In a number of tweets, Karen Monahan stated that her son was telling the truth and that the allegations were real.

Shortly after Ellison’s camp released his statement claiming the allegations were false, the same Karen Monahan account responded on Twitter by sharing a lengthy text message from herself to Keith Ellison in 2017.
UPDATE: @KarenMonahan01 just posted a very lengthy alleged text from herself to @keithellison from December 22, 2017. His alleged response on December 23, 2017: “Ok. I will be in touch.”

Looking through her timeline it would appear this has been an ongoing ‘subtweeted’ theme for a while now …
