CNN's Jake Tapper Reports That Trump's 'Outside Advisors' Are Telling Him to Declare Martial Law

CNN's Jake Tapper, best known as Gov. Gavin Newsom's fly-fishing buddy and gracious dinner host to Anthony Fauci, last fall told Seth Meyers that Jimmy Kimmel's whopping four-day suspension by ABC was "pretty much the most direct infringement by the government on free speech that I've seen in my lifetime." Here we are a year later, and CNN is going to have to fly commercial if it wants to cover the president's travels, as CNN was kicked off of Air Force One this weekend.

CNN had its White House press passes pulled because President Donald Trump had had enough of the fake news, and Tapper is one of the worst offenders out there. Media bias? Last month, Tapper posted, based on a clip from serial fabulist Aaron Rupar, that there was "zero reason" to believe that Trump was "planning something alarming to disrupt the midterms." 

On Friday, Democrat strategist Mike Nellis posted a clip from The Lead of Tapper reporting that Trump's "outside advisors" were telling him to declare martial law. "There is growing concern among experts about what Trump might do as he continues to push baseless election fraud claims," Tapper kicks off his report. Democratic New Jersey Gov. Mikie Sherrill herself recently disclosed that a "software error" had allowed 6,600 noncitizens to register to vote.

Ah yes, Tapper's source is an Atlantic story — the same magazine behind the "suckers and losers" hoax.

Again, CNN's source is The Atlantic? This is like CNN's reporting on sailors jumping overboard from the U.S.S. Abraham Lincoln left and right — let a smaller, more partisan (if that's possible) outlet break the story, and then pick it up and run with it as if they'd investigated it themselves.
