In 2012, President Obama said “al-Qaida is on the run.” Fast forward to August 2013, when the State Department responded to an al-Qaida threat with a worldwide travel alert and embassy closures.
But here’s something you don’t see every day. Radio host Laura Ingraham says Obama was “right.” Al-Qaida might be running, just not in the direction he claimed over and over. That’s just the kind of pitiful spin Jay Carney eats, sleeps and breathes: “Well, the president didn’t specify the direction al-Qaida was running.”
Now about the delusional claim that al-Qaida was “decimated” …
