Not only did Fauxcahontas score a prominent speaking slot, but Jimmy Carter will address the 2012 Democratic National Convention in Charlotte this September.
In the years after his presidency, and his defeat to Ronald Reagan, the Democrats did not spotlight Jimmy Carter at their conventions.
