Lawrence O’Donnell suffers hilarious Twitter beat down after challenging Tagg Romney to fist fight
Apparently Lawrence O’Donnell has the vapors over Tagg Romney’s joke that he’d like to “take a swing” at President Obama. Using the Boston accent he never quite perfected at drama camp, O’Donnell challenged Romney’s son to fisticuffs. Perhaps at the playground at dawn.
The MSNBC blowhard even doubled down on Twitter.
O’Donnell’s quite the tough guy, wanting to brawl with a man he believes has “never actually taken a punch or thrown a punch.” O’Donnell recalled his rumblin’ days of yore, claiming he “didn’t have that luxury in the paht of Bahston” where he was raised.
From his cushy studio at MSNBC, “West Side Story” on a loop in his sad little mind, O’Donnell said:
So, you want to take a swing at someone for calling your old man a liah? Take a swing at me. Come on. Come on. And don’t worry. There won’t be any Secret Service involved. Just us. And I’ll make it easy for you. I’ll come to you. Anytime, anywhere. Go ahead, Taggart. Take your best shot.
Oh! Make it happen, Tagg!
O’Donnell also attempted to mock Tagg’s name.
As absurd as O’Donnell’s tough guy act was, it didn’t hold a candle to the hilarity of his kinda-sorta-maybe Bahston accent. Ace of Spades wiped the floor with O’Donnell and his Southie meets Broadway dialect.
Apparently O’Donnell did have some people fearing his mighty wrath — the “Morning Joe” crew:
