CNN’s initial instinct when reacting to the horrific shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Florida was to put together a farce of a town hall, which temporarily helped now disgraced Broward County Sheriff Scott Israel.

Michelle Malkin hasn’t forgotten the network’s first response.

As of Sunday, CNN anchor Jake Tapper is asking the tough questions. But to Malkin’s point, where were these questions last week, and why didn’t he ask them at the town hall?

The answer:  CNN is still CNN.
