Christina Pushaw calls out the 'corporate media bias in reporting on @GovRonDeSantis' in this must-read thread

Florid Gov. Ron DeSantis is setting his sights on the Biden Administration’s new “disinformation” bureau housed within the Department of Homeland Security and headed by the very problematic Nina Jankowicz:

“The Biden Administration’s creation of a ‘disinformation’ bureau within DHS is effectively a Ministry of Truth that is alien to our constitutional tradition. Florida rejects Biden’s attempt to enforce regime-approved narratives and to stifle dissent.”

With that said, DeSantis spox Christina Pushaw is on the job calling out all the disinformation about her boss as the corporate press continues to spin what he says.

For example, here’s Politico’s Gary Fineout summarizing what the governor said on Friday on President Biden’s possible proposal to forgive student loan debt. Fineout writes:

Florida @GovRonDeSantis joins w other GOP in criticizing proposal being considered by @POTUS to cancel some student college debt. Says most of debt is grad school & truck drivers, waitresses and construction workers should not pay for someone who got a Ph.d. in ‘gender studies.'”

Now, for what he *really* said via Christina:

“It’s interesting almost 60% of outstanding debt is graduate school debt. People who have gone to law school, master’s programs, Ph.D. programs, medical school. And so it would just be odd to require a waitress, truck driver, or plumber to pay the student debt that was incurred by somebody to get a Ph.D. in like, Zombie Studies, or just something that really is not that pertinent.”
