While you were sleeping: Oklahoma moves 10 Commandments monument from Capitol grounds [photos]

Starting at 10:30 p.m. “to keep protesters from demonstrating,” a 10 Commandments monument weighing two-tons that was placed on the Oklahoma Capitol grounds in 2012 was moved to private property last night in order to comply with a State Supreme Court order to have it removed.

Its new home is the Oklahoma Council of Public Affairs, a private think tank located near the original site:
