It looks like a few Twitchy regulars weren’t real impressed with the part in Pope Francis’ address to Congress this morning when he said how important it was to “protect & defend human life at every stage of its development.”
First up, here’s Planned Parenthood’s Cecile Richards with a message to the Senate that will vote later today on whether or not to defund Planned Parenthood:

FWIW, President Obama has already said he’d veto the spending bill if it’s even passed:
On the upcoming CR, we should fund the entire federal government, but we should decline to fund Planned Parenthood: http://t.co/mXzuY2DU14

Obama issues veto threat on bill defunding Planned Parenthood 4 "highly objectionable provisions that advance a narrow ideological agenda"

Of course this is the “narrow ideological agenda” of the very man everyone in Congress was clapping for a little while ago. Why not take a minute and take into account what Pope Francis just spoke so eloquently about?
