2020 presidential candidate Bill de Blasio was confronted by an angry constituent who traveled all the way to Iowa to let the mayor know how bad a job he was doing running the New York City Housing Authority that administers public housing units in the five boroughs:
Tita Concepcion lives in public housing in New York and came all the way to Sioux City to confront Mayor de Blasio about the problems at @NYCHA. New Yorkers, if you want some face time with your mayor, he’ll be in South Carolina today and tomorrow morning. pic.twitter.com/S6AkjxTAON

Go back to work, you narcissist:
I think this gets to the heart of why New Yorkers are so angered by de Blasio’s campaign. We have so many problems in this city, and our mayor, who has done a spectacular job of either ignoring those problems or making them worse, thinks he should be president. https://t.co/8LQjPLbNlk

De Blasio was also confronted by a former NYPD officer outside of an Iowa BBQ joint:

It didn’t get any better for the mayor once he got to South Carolina where his name was mispronounced as “Bill de Bless-io”:
Pastor of Ebenezer AME Church in Charleston, SC mispronounces de Blasio’s name in a way I don’t believe I’ve ever heard before. “Bill de Bless-io”. pic.twitter.com/Fc35rfwzkm

And he exposed himself as a gigantic climate hypocrite, using this convenient styrofoam plate after he banned the similar products in NYC:
Mayor de Blasio, who banned single-use styrofoam in NYC, fills his styrofoam plate with food and then grabs a styrofoam cup. In his defense, there were no other options available here. What’s a styrofoam-free guy to do? pic.twitter.com/4QCv2aO6QX

Rest up, Bill:
As I head back to New York after covering de Blasio’s first presidential campaign trip, the reality of what this campaign will mean for him and New York is starting to sink in. He will most likely be gone every weekend and frequently during the week too.

The pace of a presidential campaign is grueling. Will he be resting up when he’s back in New York?
