Sad news to report from Friday out of Somalia where one Special Forces soldier was killed and four wounded fighting the al-Shabaab Islamic terrorist group:

A Department of Defense press release said the soldiers were part of joint mission with 800 members of the Somali National Security Forces (SNSF) and the Kenyan Defense Force (KDF) when they came under mortar and small-arms fire approximately 350 kilometers southwest of Mogadishu.
Three of the wounded Americans on one member of the partner forces were medically evacuated for further treatment:
