Budget airline Spirit, the butt of many a social media joke, has been delivering supplies and evacuating people from the Caribbean in the wake of Hurricane Maria:

The airline delivered 17,000 pounds of aid to Saint Marteen on Thursday and evacuated 200 people to Florida on the return leg:

FEMA has been delivering aid to the town, but it’s not nearly enough. Mayor Carlos Mendez told Begnaud that FEMA delivered 1500 meals today in a town of 60,000:
