The Miami Dolphins were dealt a significant blow to their playoff hopes with a devastating 28-13 loss to the visiting Baltimore Ravens on Sunday, but it’s the actions of one of the Dolphins players during the game that’s making news on Twitter.
Defensive tackle Jared Odrick was not at all happy with his head coach:
Jared Odrick had 2 exchanges w/Philbin on the sideline. In one, Odrick heard to say, "Every week!" 2nd: "Coaches always have a way out"

The words I'm being told Odrick said by our staff is "What? What? Coaches always have a F–ing way out." I do not know the context.

Eyes on Jared Odrick. Had to be restrained on the sidelines after barking at Philbin and Coyle. Just stepped onto the field, angry.

And Tweeters captured what looks to be the “every week” outburst from the network broadcast:

Odrick explained his comments to the press in a post-game interview, citing the “emotion” he brings to the team and the game:

As well as these tweets defending his actions:
Recommended
Emotions run high when you love winning and hate losing. I love my teammates, coaches and the fans…

…I put my body on the line for a common cause and I would do it over and over for the men that are apart of this organization.#phinsup

And if people are wondering what’s next, it’s the Patriots. #STRONGERTOGETHER

And although both Odrick and Philbin downplayed the exchange, Miami Herald columnist Armando Salguero thinks this might be just the start of public displays of anger from the players:
Joe Philbin and Jared Odrick both downplayed the minor exchange between them on the sideline. Me? (continued)

I think we're seeing first outward sign of dissatisfaction among players toward their coach.

The Dolphins travel to division leading 10-3 New England next Sunday for what is now a must-win game in order to keep their playoff hopes alive. Stay tuned…
