Former FBI Director James Comey’s testimony didn’t contain some things that The Resistance was hoping to hear and also proved that many had no idea what they were talking about. Investigative journalist Sharyl Attkisson called out a few, starting with the New York Times, Associated Press and others:
Did NYT issue correction for article Comey said was untrue and incorrect?
— Sharyl Attkisson?️♂️ (@SharylAttkisson) June 9, 2017
Or does NYT believe Comey is in error on that point?

Whoopsie Daisy! AP May 10: "Trump asserted…[Comey] told him 3 times he's not under investigation, a questionable claim that if true.. 1/3
— Sharyl Attkisson?️♂️ (@SharylAttkisson) June 9, 2017
"…would be a startling breach of protocol. 'Wouldn't happen," said fmr federal prosecutor…" AP & US News and World Report May 10.. 2/3

Also, Attkisson pointed out how Harvard Law Prof. Laurence Tribe was wrong:
OOPS: May 10: Harvard Law prof Tribe incorrectly stated Trump wasn't telling truth about Comey assuring him he wasn't under investigation.
— Sharyl Attkisson?️♂️ (@SharylAttkisson) June 9, 2017
"[Trump's] self-serving assertion was completely implausible. To put it bluntly, it appears to have been..blatant lie." –Prof. Tribe May 10
— Sharyl Attkisson?️♂️ (@SharylAttkisson) June 9, 2017
But according to Comey today, it's Prof. Tribe who drew an incorrect and unsupported conclusion.

Recommended
Prof. Tribe May 10: Comey "offering that assurance would be highly unethical and at odds with Comey's reputation as a man of integrity."

Trial lawyer and former district attorney Peter Zeidenberg turned out to be a swing-and-miss as well:
May 10: "Comey would not ever, in my opinion, say this to Trump," Peter Zeidenberg. but accdg to Comey today, it's Zeidenberg who was wrong.
— Sharyl Attkisson?️♂️ (@SharylAttkisson) June 9, 2017
"Wouldn't happen," Zeidenberg wrote on May 10. (But it did, says Comey himself.)

Turns out a lot of “fake news” was coming from the side that often throws that allegation at their political opponents.
