Yesterday Meta, which owns Facebook, Instagram and other platforms, announced that former President Donald Trump would be reinstated. That came a few weeks after Twitter reinstated Trump, though he has yet to tweet anything.
Naturally the Left took the news in stride. Just kidding!
As you might have expected, some of the hottest reactions were on MSNBC, and Mara Gay of the New York Times editorial board sees a possible end of the Republic as the result of Trump’s reinstatement to social media platforms:

It’s very telling when the people who have expressed an interest in doing away with the First and Second Amendments sit there and claim Trump’s the one who’s a threat to the Constitution.
