Politico report saying Ketanji Brown Jackson would be '1st black SCOTUS justice' earns a correction

The Senate Judiciary Committee will be voting on advancing President Biden’s nomination of Ketanji Brown Jackson for the Supreme Court to the entire Senate in the coming days.

Meanwhile, Politico appears to have been in a bit of a rush to make the nomination historic:

Politico since added the word “female” to make the statement correct:

Correction: An earlier version of this minute incorrectly stated that Jackson would be the first Black Supreme Court justice. She would be the first Black female justice.

While we’re at it, perhaps Politico could explain what they mean by “female,” because, just like Judge Jackson, we’re not biologists.
