As has been expected, it appears that Russia now is making a move into Ukraine, and tonight there are multiple reports confirming that’s happening:
US official tells me: Right now we are seeing the pre assault fires. Expect this to go on for a few hours. Land attack to follow with ALL of the full forces Putin has arrayed. Explosions heard in Kiev, Odessa, Mariupol. “It’s begun.”

Pray for Ukrainians and the incredibly brave journalists reporting these atrocities to the world.
We're in truly frightening times.

Meanwhile, Democrat Rep. Eric Swalwell says Republicans are rooting for Putin and the Russians:
Kyiv and Kharkiv are being bombed. The largest invasion on our planet since WW2. Republicans are rooting for the Russians. God be with Ukraine and democracy.

Gee, what a totally predictable take…
When China invades Taiwan we'll already know whose side you're on. https://t.co/tfKiYc4Klp

There isn’t a less self-aware Democrat in Congress than Swalwell.
This is just so deeply embarrassing and unserious, Eric. I can't think of a time when a party deserved power in Washington less than you guys do now.

There's no polite way to say this: You're an idiot.
Nobody is rooting for the Russians. I am, however, deeply disappointed that the guy leading your party is so weak that it's come to this.

Always trying to blame Republicans when Democrats like you are in charge and let this happen.

sounds like you’re excited just to try and twist the truth and turn this on republicans.
this guy is consistently one of the biggest liars on this stupid website. https://t.co/htUvUfdpZH

Many Democrats will undoubtedly continue to claim that Republican criticism of Biden’s positions translates to direct support of Vladimir Putin.
