You’ve no doubt heard plenty of doom-and-gloom predictions about what man-made climate change will bring about if the world doesn’t quit powering progress with fossil fuels and instead switches to… an indeterminate “clean energy” source that could somehow accomplish the same thing. If that doesn’t happen, Wired Science has served up the direst of warnings about what awaits the next generation:
“Today’s babies, by adulthood, will live on a planet without an Arctic. Prevalence of heatstroke and extreme weather will have redefined global labour and production beyond recognition.” Your planet’s on fire, kids. https://t.co/KGn1i9DrJq

Anybody who’s lived long enough has seen stuff like this before, with a twist:
"Seems legit." – the parents of those kids who grew up being warned about a second ice age that never happened https://t.co/dz1kyahzMG

It’s surprising the eco-alarmists’ panic button still even works considering how often it’s been used.
We're 30 years past the first warnings of "We only have 10 years to acts!" Everything they said would happen if we didn't act didn't happen. Now they're making 100 year predictions because no one will be alive to remember the lies. It's not by accident: https://t.co/PoGPnqM6by https://t.co/jeYC0EK4PG

Now they’ve got to make sure the prediction goes out far enough so there’s nobody alive to mock them when the latest doomsday predictions don’t come to fruition.
If only the wooly mammoths and T-Rex-s had WIRED Science to save them. Maybe we’d still have glaciers covering all of North America yet… https://t.co/ZGzvYLkRpr

This is nonsense.
— JWF (@JammieWF) November 29, 2018
Complete and utter nonsense. Even more ridiculous because this is supposed to take place in 18-20 years for "today's babies."
Wired Science is really weird science. https://t.co/7GUIWT1Von

Obligatory:
We will all be dead from net neutrality before then anyway

Very likely, if we’re to believe some congressional Dems.
