As Twitchy reported earlier, Sen. Alex "José" Padilla and friends, including Sens. Chuck Schumer and Dick Durbin, sent a letter to Department of Homeland Security Secretary Markwayne Mullin demanding that he "stop using DHS to interfere with our elections" and cool it with the "election conspiracy claims about noncitizen voting" that "don’t hold up." According to a whistleblower, the senators said, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services personnel "were allegedly directed to use sensitive, personally identifiable information and improperly access state voter registration websites to find non-citizen voters." "Every eligible American has the right to vote," Padilla said in his post. "Stop making it harder." How does finding noncitizen voters make it harder for eligible Americans to vote?
Mullin held a press conference on Wednesday and said that HSI is currently investigating more than 1,600 vote fraud cases and is getting to 300,000 more. This must be one of his election conspiracy claims.
🚨 HOLY CRAP! DHS Sec. Markwayne Mullin reveals he is now finding out that some state officials likely knew about voter fraud and illegal voting, but refused to prosecute it

"As we're getting the voter logs from 47 states...we're realizing there's ACTUALLY A LOT. And we believe… pic.twitter.com/TU1sbOEPMJ
The post continues:
… some states probably KNEW about it, and chose not to look into it."
"Over 1,600 voter fraud cases currently investigating and 300,000 MORE WE'RE GETTING TO. HSI is leading these investigations." 💯
So now the Trump admin is cross-checking names and finding MORE FRAUD THAN EXPECTED
ANY official suspected of this needs to be investigated themselves and removed from office
Voter fraud is a serious offense and it cancels out the votes of American citizens
I guarantee you most of it happened in blue states! California, Minnesota and New York are PRIME SUSPECTS.
Which three states are still withholding their voter logs, we wonder?
If 47 states have voter logs worth auditing, every stone needs to be turned over—no protected class of official gets a pass.

@DHSgov we can make it really easy for you in Texas. Quite a few cases we took to State, Federal, and Appellate court only to be told we didn't have legal standing. In one case alone we cover 12 counties and over 70 elections officials. Many other similar cases can do the same.

Give looney tunes California politicians an idea. They’ll make it a felony to prosecute voter fraud and will charge you with creating a “chilling effect” on future potential voters.
— B-rad (@ManMigra) September 30, 2026
“Likely” is not the case. They “absolutely” knew.
— John Dough (@Hiddenwallet) September 30, 2026
They didn't just not prosecute it.
— Dan Heenan (@VictorBarky) September 30, 2026
They created it. Intentionally.
— FirstCount (@SalvatoBert) September 30, 2026
That's why they are not willing to give up the voter rolls.

Amazing what one can uncover when you actually look for it. It’s not a needle in a haystack.
— cookn4ya (@cookn4ya) September 30, 2026
Which is why they fought so hard to keep the voting records hidden!

The “H” in Democrat is for “honesty”.
You don't say..... the ones cheating didn't want to prosecute. How much longer are we going to play this game.
— Malloy Titan (@titan_malloy) September 30, 2026
Zero people should be shocked by this… it’s been kinda obvious given what has been uncovered this year alone…
— Ginger Poppins (@GingerPoppins) September 30, 2026
They knew and sat on it. That’s the part that should piss people off. 1,600 cases already, 300,000 more coming. Clean the rolls and investigate the officials who looked the other way
— Bailey (@Bailey95911) September 30, 2026
This is why the Democrats ran the disenfranchisement narrative for so long.
— LoilToTheFoil (@Wil84L) September 30, 2026
They were the ones doing the disenfranchising.
Every narrative. Every time.
More theater. Everyone already knew this long ago.
— Highspeed (@TonyHighspeed) September 30, 2026
Yeah, some arrests and prosecutions would go a long way toward having a "chilling effect" on voter fraud.
