World War II Soldiers Never Called Themselves Antifa, So Stop Calling Them That

Meme

As I reported earlier this week, President Trump held a roundtable at the White House to discuss Antifa. You know, the organization that Joe Biden said was just "an idea" during the debates. The idea that chased down and tried to kill Andy Ngo. We're at the point (again) where being "Antifa" is a good thing. First came the denials, such as Jimmy Kimmel saying Antifa doesn't exist, like the Chupacabra: "There is no Antifa. This is an entirely imaginary organization. There is not an Antifa," he said the other night on "Jimmy Kimmel Live!", which was off the air for what, like four days? "Brooklyn Dad Defiant," Majid Padellan argued back in 2022 that there's "no Antifa logo." Dude, have you seen the red flags on the black background? The flags that the organization that doesn't exist carry during parades and demonstrations? And they have no leaders, and yet their leaders are fleeing to Europe now that Trump has declared them domestic terrorists.

As I wrote earlier today, we've gone from the cable news media all declaring that Antifa doesn't exist to people saying that being Antifa is to be American. I remember way back when CNN was still paying Don Lemon to read DNC talking points, and he childishly tried to educate us all that Antifa was short for anti-fascist, and who wouldn't be against fascism?

My father was a World War II veteran. He didn't storm the beaches at Normandy, but he did serve. And if there's one pet peeve I have, it's when clowns like Chris Cuomo (back when he was paid by CNN) post pictures of D-Day and say, "The original Antifa." Padellan does it here:

They actually did fight fascists. Real fascists, not just people you disagree with. And they never, ever once referred to themselves as Antifa, so stop trying to label them with that derogatory word. Some blue-haired freak dressed up in a mask and a black hoodie and black jeans and carrying a homemade "shield" with a red hammer and sickle on it is in no way comparable to those World War II vets. It's cosplay. We're not imagining Antifa — Antifa is imagining fascism.

Claude Taylor pissed me off by posting this this week:

No. Just shut up. Don't you dare try to compare World War II vets to the freaks trying to set federal buildings on fire.

Exactly.

Agreed. I can't express how angry I get when one of these posts goes up. How dare you compare these fallen soldiers to the terrorists and socialists running around Portland.

No organization, huh:

Stick with this video for a few seconds:

Casey Robert Goonan ("they/them"), who has a Ph.D. in black studies, pleaded guilty to using homemade explosive devices in June 2024 to destroy a @UCPD_Cal police vehicle on campus and to attempt to firebomb the Ronald V. Dellums Federal Building and U.S. Courthouse in Oakland. He also admitted to carrying out three arson attacks on the UC Berkeley campus.

Goonan admitted he was inspired by the Hamas direct action terror attacks of Oct. 7 and that he hoped his violence would inspire others to carry out further attacks "for Palestine."

Antifa and far-left militants are calling him a "political prisoner" and are demanding his immediate release.

Yeah, just like Normandy. And unfortunately, this non-organization has chapters around Europe as well:

Any survivors of World War II would wonder what it was all for when they saw these "migrant hotels" taking over England.
