We thought we understood the Democratic nomination process, but all of that went out the window somewhere between the coin flips in Iowa (which landed six out of six for Hillary Clinton) and the “pick a card, any card” trick in Nevada. And then we were told the razor thin margins between the candidates didn’t really mean much, because the super delegates could shift their support afterward.
After Hillary Clinton was declared the winner in Nevada, Democratic National Committee chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz appeared on MSNBC with Rachel Maddow and attempted to explain just how all of this worked.
As Accuracy in Media noted, “If the liberal Rachel Maddow can’t be convinced by DNC’s Debbie Wasserman Schultz, then who will be convinced?”

Embarrassing? If Wasserman Schultz were capable of embarrassment, she would have resigned the position long ago.
