Sick: Stenciled emoji of police officer at gunpoint showing up around Houston area

The morning after Harris County deputy Darren Goforth was shot execution style while fueling his patrol car, hundreds of citizens came to the place where he was shot to show their support and set up a makeshift memorial at the site of his death.

Unfortunately, someone in the Houston area has been busy as well, stenciling emoji of a gun pointed at a police officer in at least four different locations.

HPD Union President Ray Hunt told ABC 13, “I can’t believe that there are people out there so heartless and so ruthless to put something on there before this deputy is even buried. It does nothing to help to help morale in the police department and does nothing to help the Goforth family.”

One good thing we learned from this story: The police union is planning to distribute 10,000 “Pray for Police” bracelets to the community next week.
