As Twitchy reported earlier, Glenn Greenwald destroyed Democrat Rep. Stacey Plaskett for referring to Matt Taibbi and Michael Shellenberger as “so-called journalists.” As Greenwald put it, when is the last time either of them published a DNC press release? It’s funny … during the Trump administration, attacks on journalists were a bad thing. But Democrats just keep moving the goalposts on what it means to be a “journalist” — do you have to be employed by the New York Times or CNN? Democrat Rep. Sylvia Garcia embarrassed herself by not knowing who New York Times alumnus Bari Weiss is, nor knowing what Substack is. It is where real journalism is taking place, and that’s why it’s been under attack as a right-wing misinformation site.
Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz, whom we happily haven’t heard from in a while, went after Taibbi for profiting off of his reporting on the #TwitterFiles.

Yeah, we’re not sure what her point is here. “So-called journalist” Taibbi broke a huge story the mainstream media wouldn’t touch and gained a lot of followers on Substack because of it. What a weak line of attack from a desperate woman.
