First off, our thoughts are with Brian Stelter, whose “Reliable Sources” show went daily with the launch of CNN+, but as you know, the owners are shutting down CNN+ at the end of April — just before Stelter was going to break through as the massive success story that saved CNN+.
If you want a clue as to why they’re pulling the plug on CNN+, these clips from Newsbusters’ Nicholas Fondacaro give a good idea. Stelter picked up on the Libs of Tik Tok story with a segment titled, “Real-World Impact of New Anti-LBGT Anger.” Stelter accuses Libs of Tik Tok of cherry-picking videos from random teachers. He also allows his guest to claim that “kids are dying” because of Florida’s Parental Rights in Education law without any follow-up or pushback.

Radical lib teacher in Florida tells CNN+ the "goal" of exposing her and other radical teachers is to "cause harm" and "gaslight" what the law is.
She also decries parental rights in education: "They want to control what their kids learn, how they learn it!" pic.twitter.com/Dc6F19PmCe— Nicholas Fondacaro (@NickFondacaro) April 21, 2022
Stelter claims Libs of TikTok is 'cherry-picking' videos and taking them "out of context" despite them being the videos the teachers themselves put up. The radical lib teacher rages. pic.twitter.com/OvR90E76LD

There would be no videos to “cherry-pick” if these teachers would stop posting them to TikTok.

The deranged lib teacher claims the parents who don't want to sexually indoctrinate kids "don't want to make education accessible to all people."
"Kids are dying because of this," she declares, citing no evidence and with no push back from Stelter. pic.twitter.com/rgHajmOA9Z— Nicholas Fondacaro (@NickFondacaro) April 21, 2022
Stelter never pushes back because he never has to — he only has guests who are ideologically aligned with him and CNN. And tell us more about the “real-world” impact of new anti-LGBT anger — like the death threats not only to Libs of Tik Tok but to a woman who shares the same name. The LGBT crowd certainly is full of anger.
This is the video the deranged lib teacher posted and was shared by Libs of TikTok. In it, she lies about what Florida's Parental Rights in Education law does. Stelter refused to share her video.https://t.co/YK0hjvPIFW

Of course he did.
I don't think they could be any more dishonest

@CNN has people like @brianstelter then wonders why they’re failing

When I was in school teachers never talked about themselves or their families. It wasn't about them.

I dare this toolbox to have the same exact conversations that she has in "school" at a local playground with random little kids.

Can't imagine why CNN+ pulled the plug, with such in-depth reporting from Tater

Stelter's that kid that thought anyone who ever disagreed with him or looked at him sideways was a bully, and ran to the teacher about it. He's almost worse than Joy Reid.

It sounds like Stelter is accusing Libs of TikTok of following the same practices CNN has perfected over the years.

Typical CNN then basically.

Yep … CNN+ just allowed you to pay to see even more of the exact same stuff that has CNN in the basement of cable news ratings.
