There are a lot of mixed feelings out there now that the FDA has approved the use of the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine for children ages 5 to 11 years old. Twelve-year-olds are one thing, but kindergarteners?
As we reported last week, Big Bird trended after posting on Twitter that he’d just been vaccinated for the coronavirus (Big Bird is supposedly 6). CNN then teamed up with Big Bird for a family town hall about the vaccine, featuring the network’s Dr. Sanjay Gupta.
I am so proud of @BigBird for getting his Covid-19 vaccine! I know this can make some kids nervous, but that’s completely normal. @EricaRHill and I gave him our best tips to stay calm:https://t.co/DIM3dfZX4u

It can make some kids nervous? What about parents?
Dr. Robert W. Malone isn’t impressed by the crossover of CNN and Sesame Street to market vaccines directly to children:
Sanjay Gupta and CNN may have thought they were being cute, but marketing an unlicensed vaccine directly to children crosses mulitple major ethical lines. They deserve to be sued, boycotted, and Gupta should lose his license to practice medicine for this. Quite serious. NOT OK!!

I wholly concur.

Totally agree.

California Gov. Gavin Newsom has already announced the nation’s first statewide COVID-19 vaccination mandate for schoolchildren, and San Francisco is already trying to nail down a date to apply the city’s vaccine passport to 5- to 11-year-olds.
Smearing Joe Rogan and promoting Big Bird.

Gupta is Fauci Jr.

Couldn't agree more. Dangerous, unethical, criminal behaviour.
— Nicolas Deseez 🌸 (@NicolasDeseez) November 8, 2021
Completely agree. I truly was shocked to watch it.
And targeting it directly at kids, who lets be honest for the most part (at say 5 years old) wouldn’t have a genuine understanding of what they would be committing to, is utterly disgusting!!

I was stunned when I viewed this. Any parent who could view that and think this is normal public health messaging 😐

Especially when 2/3 of parents currently don’t plan to give it to their kids.

I am with you. It crossed so many lines.

Thanks for calling this out. It makes me angry.

Don’t forget the commercial where your kid will be an actual superhero with cape and all the super powers once double jabbed too!

Gupta may be the biggest medical hack anywhere.

We’ve already seen Gupta and his network smear Joe Rogan as taking “horse dewormer” — why should we trust them now?
