It’s died down, thankfully, now that it’s finally sinking in that there is no redo of the 2016 election and Hillary Clinton will never be president, but we’d be happy never to see another one of those “But her emails!” memes in our Twitter feed. Yes, her emails … anyone who was following the story — from the BleachBit fiasco to Anthony Weiner’s laptop — should have been deeply concerned with the secretary of state’s casual mishandling of classified information.
While the Mueller investigation has turned out to be a dud, the investigation into Clinton’s emails continues, and Judicial Watch today announced that the FBI found Clinton’s emails in the Obama White House.

Yeah, the funny thing about that is, President Obama, using a pseudonym account, was emailing back and forth with Clinton through her unsecured, homebrew email server. Clinton had to give the White House her new private email address because the president’s account could only receive emails from approved senders, so of course, the White House knew.

E.W. (Bill) Priestap, assistant director of the FBI Counterintelligence Division, made the disclosure to Judicial Watch as part of court-ordered discovery into the Clinton email issue.
U.S District Court Judge Royce Lamberth ordered Obama administration senior State Department officials, lawyers, and Clinton aides, as well as Priestap, to be deposed or answer writer questions under oath. The court ruled that the Clinton email system was “one of the gravest modern offenses to government transparency.”

Priestap also testifies that 48,982 emails were reviewed as a result of a warrant for Clinton email account information from the laptop of Anthony Weiner, who had been married to top Clinton aide Huma Abedin.
Huh … and we’re still wondering why Hillary’s IT guy was scavaging around Reddit for tips on how to “remove or replace [the] to/from address on archived emails” for a “VERY VIP” client, before giving up and — oops! — accidentally running BleachBit a few times.
