Kudos to actor James Woods for being able to resist the temptation to make yet another joke about mayoral candidate Anthony Weiner and his bizarre sexting alias, “Carlos Danger.” It takes a stronger person than just about anybody not to ridicule a man who apparently wants to run New York City but can’t keep himself from sending nude photos.
While media figures praised Weiner and (especially) his wife for their composure, Rosie O’Donnell of all people called out “Anthony” and urged him to “go away and get help” rather than continue to shame his wife and child. Woods went so far as to lump in Weiner with troubled actress Amanda Bynes, diagnosing both as “true cases of mental illness.” Too far? Or dead on?
