Just blocks from the shooting at the Santa Monica College campus, authorities say two bodies have been discovered inside a burning home, which witnesses say belonged to the shooting suspect’s father. A woman who police believe was the target of a carjacking by the shooter was found nearby with gunshot wounds.

Vine videos show the home on fire and the injured woman.

ABC7 has posted a map of the three locations involved.

A neighbor who spoke with NBC4 was on the scene when the fire broke out.

Jerry Cunningham-Rathner said she heard gunshots and ran out of her home to see a man in front of the house that was on fire. The man raised his gun toward a woman driving by in a blue hatchback and told her to pull over. He also motioned for another car to stop, Cunningham-Rathner said.

“He looked official, like a SWAT team guy dressed in black with his belt full of ammo,” Cunningham-Rathner said. “He fired two to three shots point-blank into her car.

“You could smell the gunshots.”
