Back in October, we told you the United Nations -- hardly a bastion of Right-wing thought and policy -- believed nearly 1,000 women had athletic medals stolen from them because of men who 'identified' as women.
We've had countless stories of boys and men, under the guise of being 'trans girls' or 'trans women', taking competition slots, world records, and Olympic glory from women.
The Left will insist on two things: that trans athletes (and trans individuals in general) are so commonplace that we have to accommodate them in women's sports (and everyday life).
What I don't see, however, is the existence of female-to-male trans athletes invading men's sports. Logically, if there are so many trans individuals, we should see some 'trans men' clamoring to play in the NBA or the NFL. Yet, while there's a plethora of men jumping into women's teams, there's scant data on women jumping into play with men.
Wonder why that is.
Just kidding. I know why that is, and so does everyone else.
Last month, I visited the Marathon Run Museum in Marathon, Greece. For the admission price of just 2 euros, it was a lovely little museum that made the idea of running 26.2 miles (or 42 kilometers) interesting. The thing that stood out to me the most was the marathon finishing times. Without fail, the top 50 men all beat the top women's best time.
But tell me more about how there's no real physical difference between genders, Lefties.
With UPenn erasing men from the women's sports, our media -- as always -- have identified the victims here: the handful of mediocre men who couldn't compete against their own (instead of the women they abused and cheated out of medals).
Trans athletes face uncertain future after Penn strikes deal with Trump administration https://t.co/mc45xcXwpN

Here's more from The Hill (emphasis added):
Penn’s agreement with the OCR also required it to issue a public statement, to be displayed “in a prominent location on its main website,” pledging compliance with Title IX, which the administration has said prohibits transgender girls from girls’ sports, and specifying that it would not allow transgender women to participate in women’s sports or enter women’s athletic facilities, such as locker rooms.
The Ivy League institution was also made to personally apologize to Thomas’s former teammates and adopt “biology-based” definitions of the terms “male” and “female,” consistent with two executive orders Trump signed during his first weeks in office — one that proclaims the U.S. recognizes only two unchangeable sexes, and another stating the federal government opposes trans athletes’ participation in girls’ and women’s sports.
The NCAA, which oversees sports at more than 1,000 colleges and universities nationwide, barred transgender women from participating in women’s college sports shortly after Trump signed the order on trans athletes. The organization’s president, Charlie Baker, had testified before a Senate panel in December that fewer than 10 known NCAA athletes are transgender.
“There is nothing legitimate about what the Trump administration is doing here in targeting trans-inclusive sports policies,” said Shiwali Patel, director of safe and inclusive schools at the National Women’s Law Center.
'Fewer than 10 known NCAA athletes are transgender.'
So, which is it, Lefties? Either trans people are such a big part of the population that we have to change our language, or policies, and erase women to accommodate them OR they're such a small minority as to render them irrelevant?
Pick one.
This is what the Left always does: they scream and cry about democracy right up until the majority -- and in the case of trans issues, the vast majority -- hold views they don't like. Then, suddenly, democracy is thrown out the window to make sure the rights of the minority group are protected.
To the female athletes who lost medals and competition spots, the illegitimacy came when they were pushed aside so mediocre men who couldn't cut it against other men could trounce them in athletic competitions.
And the Left was not only applauding these men, it was attacking the women.
When UPenn announced its policy changes, Keith Olbermann took a shot at former UPenn athlete Riley Gaines, mocking the fact that the policy meant Gaines tied for fourth in a competition against 'trans' swimmer Lia (Will) Thomas. When they're not outright ignoring basic physiological differences between men and women, the Left tells women who they forced to compete against men that they should train harder.
Never once did a Leftist tell Will Thomas -- who ranked 462nd nationally among men -- that he should swim more laps.
But back to The Hill and their hand-wringing over trans athletes: their future is not uncertain. If trans athletes want to compete, they can do so against members of their biological sex.
If they can't cut it, that's their problem.
The future of female athletes, on the other hand, is fair once more.
